                                          A Depression Story~

How long can I go?

How long can I fight?

Nothing seems to be going right. 

The situation's hold on me is rough and tight.

I can't go anymore

I still can't see the shore.

Be Positive! Keep going! 

Keeping my spirits high, I kept rowing.

Is it even worth enough?

Or is it some mere bluff? 

Is it something I can't figure out and see?

Might be true might not be.

Everything came to a sudden halt

When I finalized that it's my fault.

Never looking into it fairly and rationally,

I looked down at my own self disdainfully.

Very soon am drowning deep

All the negativities can now seep.

Ghoulish darkness now pervades

Totally hopeless, I can't even see those dim starry shades.

Its done!

Its over!!

Wait, suddenly my instincts upsurge.

Look! The ray has emerged!

Again it must be some delusion

My child, it will bring you your desired solution.

( Who is it?)

I looked up to see through the hazy fog

Its none other than holy God!

He heard me!!

The page of my life which was wrinkled,

Now gleamed and twinkled.

Everything will be fine 

My destiny will shine!

(He's gone)

But he left me with a spark

Which will help me march through the dark.

Realizing that my mind was playing a nasty game

My inner peace and happiness came.

And yes I made it now! I healed

The only missing link was in realizing that I was my own destination and shield!
